Meet the Brush a Loves™

Brush a Loves where made in 1987 by Tyco®. Some Brush a Loves are labeled AmToy™ or Matchbox®.

So far I have found 3 types of Brush a Loves:
Plush (10" tall, look like bears (or mice))
Li'l Brush a Loves (small plush)
Flocked or Hard Brush a Loves

~Plush Brush a Loves resemble bears (or mice) and are 10" tall and have a mirror on their right paw and
Brush a Loves™ printed on their left paw. Their left paw was scented and called their Powder Puff Paw.  Each Brush a Loves had a different scent.  If anyone knows the scents please email me!  Their arms stretch for easier play. They have a long tail that ends in a rounded colored brush. They have a hair bow on their head that holds a tuft of colored hair.  They also had names (printed on the box they came attached to).  See the individual 10" plushes for more information!

~Li'l Brush a Loves looked a lot different from the regular plush Brush a Loves. They are  " long and have hard plastic faces.  The have hard plastic faces, multi-colored bodies (usually 3 colors), long tails ended in a rounded brush, and a colored tuft of hair on their heads. UK Li'l Brush a Loves have molded plastic flowers on their heads under their hair tufts.  Li'l Brush a Loves also had names!  See the Li'l Brush a Loves Picture Guide for this information!

Kiss-a-Loves are small,  flocked, and made of  hard plastic. They resemble Brush a Loves. I have only seen them in European countries so far.  They are about 6" tall, and covered in flocking. They have a fuzzy long tail that ends in a small rounded brush, and brushable hair (tied with a bow).  I don't see any markings on them. They have a hole in their mouth so when you press their tummy a puff of scented air comes out their mouth.

There seems to be 2 types of the plush Brush a Loves, one kind sold in the USA and the other in the UK (maybe Europe too).

Kiss-a-Loves seem to have been sold only in Europe, please correct me if I'm wrong.  I have also seen a puzzle in Germany but the seller wouldn't ship to the USA so I was unable to get the puzzle (much to my disappointment).
